The Simi Valley Town Center will host the event in its parking lot Fridays from 3 to 7:30 p.m. starting July 21.
Along with fresh produce, there will be prepared food, children's activities, arts and crafts and live music. Some of the children's activities will include a pony ride, petting zoo, inflatable slides and obstacle courses.
The market will be produced by Ventura-based FMOCIH.
It will run through the late fall.
The market will take place in the parking lot near Dakota's Great Steakhouse.
It is the newest addition to activities at the mall that include a summer music series Tuesday and Thursday nights and a Kid's Club on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m.

Irving Berlin wrote the music and lyrics and Herbert and Dorothy Fields wrote the book.
"Annie Get Your Gun," one of America's most beloved musicals, features one of Berlin's most memorable scores, with such songs as "There's No Business Like Show Business," "They Say That Falling in Love Is Wonderful," and "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better."

Performances are Always Free! In 1995 John and Roxanne Diesel co-founded Gypsies in a Trunk, an all-volunteer troupe of actors performing free fairy tales for the young and young at heart. In partnership with the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District and with the support of then recreation supervisor, Doug Gale, the troupe opened their first season to enthusiastic audiences at the Rancho Simi Community Park Amphitheater and called the annual series Fairy Tales in the Park.

The group's dedicated members passionately recreate the music of Steely Dan whose legendary hits include: "Reelin' in the Years", "Josie" and "Peg", among many others. The music of Steely Dan crosses many musical boundaries, from their jazzy horn lines and smooth vocals, to the rock guitar licks and funky grooves, their appeal is wide ranging. With an array of classic songs that ease you into your seat, and upbeat tunes that get you dancing, Steely Dan's repertoire has an impact on everyone. This little "big band" consists of three vocalists, three horns, and a solid rhythm section.

Simi Valley Town Center announces a series of twice-weekly musical performances through the summer, culminating in the Vino Jazz Festival in September – a major fund-raiser hosted at the regional mall for the first time.
Starting Aug. 1 at Simi Valley Town Center, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. will feature live performances by artists ranging from jazz to swing, Dixlieland to Latin. The music series is sponsored by Jefferson at Simi Valley, the soon to open apartment homes north of the mall.

The Kiwanis Club of Santa Susana will present its annual Lobster Fest from 3 to 8 p.m. Sat., Aug. 27 at Rancho Tapo Park, 3700 Avenida Simi at Lemon Drive, Simi Valley.

The Simi Valley Kiwanis Club’s 10th annual lobster feast will be on Sat., Aug. 28, at Oak County Park, which is 1.7 miles west of Madera on Easy Street.
Large live Maine lobsters will be flown in the morning of the event. Rib-eye steak and chicken will also be on the menu, along with sides of potatoes, cole slaw, corn, garlic bread and dessert.
A cake walk and bouncers will be among the old-fashioned picnic-style games entertaining the children, and a rock-climbing wall will be available for older children and adults. Live music will be provided by a popular disc jockey.
Tickets for the event are $25, with a child’s menu of hamburgers or hot dogs offered at $5. Beverages for purchase will include beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water.
