The Simi Valley Cajun, Creole Music Festival is Saturday and Sunday at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park.

Its sponsors say it is the second-largest Cajun festival west of the Mississippi, with more than 15,000 people attending.

The festival will feature Cajun and Zydeco music.

In addition, Cajun and Creole food will be available from a variety of food vendors.

Among the groups playing are the San Diego Cajun Playboys, Jeffrey Broussard and the Creole Cowboys, Lisa Haley and the Zydecats and more.

Royal High School Vocal Music Department presents final concert of year, "Lights Camera Action," music from movies, 7 p.m., high school quad (outdoors), 1402 Royal Ave., Simi Valley. Gates open 5:30 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Dinner/refreshments available for purchase. $12 general admission, $10 presale tickets. $8 students, seniors, children under 12.
