Go all in for local youth football league
The Simi Valley Vikings Football and Cheer will present Monte Carlo Casino Night with a Texas hold'em tournament from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday., Aug. 25 at Lost Canyons Golf Club, 3301 Lost Canyon Drive, Simi Valley.
Instructions for Texas hold'em begin at 5:30 p.m. The tournament starts at 6:15 p.m.
A $100 buyin includes admission, Monte Carlo games and the Texas hold'em tournament. There are $50 re-buys.
Seating for the tournament is limited, and early reservations are recommended. Grand prize for the tournament is a 42-inch plasma TV.
The event also includes silent and live auctions, live music, cigar bar, gourmet food and a raffle.
Auction items include a weekend in San Francisco and a private dinner party for 12.
Dress for the event is dressy attire, no jeans or T-shirts.
Table sponsorships are available at $300 per table.
